Hi, I'm Georgie and I'm the founder of The Big Beautiful Bunting Co. 

I started BBB 17 years ago before bunting rental was the norm. I was inspired by a set of vintage nautical flags I found in a Cornish boat shed and it triggered a lightening bulb moment for me. I had studied textiles at Falmouth Uni and was keen to use my skills so the thought of reimagining bunting, and to rent it was exciting. 

My first designs were made with vintage silk saris and old chintz curtains from charity shops. One of my first big jobs was to make 300m of bunting for The Eden project to launch their Big Lunch initiative. I got spotted by Kirstie Allsopp who commissioned me to design and make for several of her TV programmes and books. My designs have been featured on TV programmes, in magazines, films and adverts. 

In 2019 I gave my inventory a massive update and invested in new designs but the dreaded Covid came knocking and I had to mothball the lot before anyone got to see them.

I am thrilled to finally be able to share them so please take a look and let me know what you think.
