It’s that time of year again folks. In 10 days time crafters from all over the UK will be flocking to Hampton Court for a weekend of inspiration and creative indulgence. The BBB team will again be festooning the entire site with hundreds of metres of brightly coloured bunting but this year I have also been asked to share some of my other bright ideas.
I’ll be in the Grand make tent showing folks how to print Tibetan Poetry bunting using beautiful poems around the theme of Light. Poems and quotes will include work from legendary wordsmiths old and new so watch this space as we’ll be revealing some of the inspiring words we’ll be using at the fair on the blog this week.
I’ll also be teaching for Annie Sloan in the Upcycling tent. If you’ve already booked tickets I will be showing you how to print and customise your very own bag for life using Cornish scallop shells amongst other interesting bits and bobs. This is a great project for DIY gifts and a lovely way to use up the last bit of Chalk paint at the back of the cupboard. If you fancy joining us you can buy tickets here but you’ll have to be quick!
Whatever your craft, I guarantee you’ll find something to get your creative urges buzzing so check out the Handmade Fair website now and don’t miss out.
See you there!
